University of Kashmir Revises UG Re-Evaluation Policy
The University Of Kashmir Has Announced A Significant Amendment To Its Undergraduate Re-evaluation Policy. As Per The Notification Dated January 22, 2025, The Vice-chancellor, Following The Dean’s Committee Resolution And Approval From Competent Bodies, Has Revised Statutes 10(v) And (vi) Governing The Re-evaluation Of Answer Scripts Under The Cbcs Program. Previously, If The Difference Between Two Evaluations Exceeded 30%.
The Answer Script Would Be Sent To A Third Evaluator, And The Best Marks Among The Three Evaluations Were Considered Final. However, With The Recent Amendment, The Revised Policy Simplifies The Process By Considering The Best Of The Two Evaluations, Regardless Of The Difference In Marks.
This Change Aims To Streamline The Re-evaluation Process While Maintaining Fairness And Efficiency. The Notification, Issued By The Joint Registrar (academic), Emphasizes The Implementation Of This Revised Policy And Has Been Circulated To All Relevant Academic And Administrative Departments For Immediate Compliance.
